This week we got a handout that had a lot of vocabulary words on many papers and we had to write a story using thirty of the words in the first two pages, this is my story. I used thirty words in my story. My story is about a girl getting mad that another girl came in late and the teacher ignored her but when the girl was late one time and the teacher acknowledged her in front of the entire class and yelled at her and the other girl just got into class when she was late and the teacher ignored her. The tedious class had me slowly falling asleep. We never had to be strenuous in this class. I was never exhilarated or attentive. I was dosing off in the first five minutes of class when I skewed my head to see a stealthy and impudent girl walk through the door. She walked past the chifforobe. Finally something would happen, she would be yelled at and this class would be a little more interesting. But nothing happened she just walked to her seat as the teacher ignored her. I was indignant this was tacit. she had a smug look on her face that was perpetual. I was wrathfully sulky. I wished her the opposite of prosperity. I felt like a piece of refuse. when was late the teacher was never as quelling as she was today. She was very tent and not terse at all. She grimly yelled at me in front of the whole class. She was a fraud my speculations were telling me that this was a capital charge and cynical confidence. The corroborative evidence that I had was the fact that the teacher completely ignored her. I grimly expressed my annoyance. She was not candid. I was indignant. I was perpetrated to show her temerity.
Something sad that is happening in the world today is that there is huge floating piece of trash in the middle of the ocean. This is called the Garbage Patch. The garbage patch is a huge island made out of trash. This island is huge, it is so big that it is two times the size of Texas. This Garbage Patch is not only ugly but it is polluting everything. It is polluting our clean air and it is polluting our beautiful oceans. Some of the pieces of trash are mistaken for food by animals in the ocean who later die because we have polluted their ocean, their home. Some of these animals don’t even die right away they just spend most of their life with pieces of trash inside of their bodies and get all sorts of diseases that make them suffer an then they die. This is a very sad thing. This can also kill someone because they eat the fish with the trash in it without even knowing until it is too late and then they die. Many people are suffering because of this trash that they are making. we are literally killing ourselves when we litter and don't care about it. we should know better by now to try to not make as much trash as we do and to definitely not litter at all. This Garbage Patch is a huge island of mistakes that wee have mad we are killing our animals and ourselves. We should stop making so much trash and try to not let everyone around us including ourselves die. The trash is also creating pollution that is destroying our air. Yes we are destroying the air that we breathe everyday. This is a very bad thing for notably us or the animals but it is bad for our earth, out only home. We should stop now.
This week in class we all went to the norton simon museum of art. We had a lot of fun looking and learning about all of the art in the norton simon museum art. We first split into two groups and went with two different tour guides. We went on our two own separate ways. My group looked, analyzed, and learned about the old art that was in three different rooms in the norton simon museum of art. After we went to look at the interesting and different art pieces that were in the three different rooms in the norton simon museum of art we went to eat food finally at a park near the norton simon museum of art. After eating at the park that was near the norton simon museum of art we went back inside the norton simon museum of art. Inside the norton simon museum of art we split into about five different groups and went on our own five different separate ways. my group went to the egyptian art and then we went to the gift shop and then we went to go outside with the rest of the group and bought ice-cream and then we went to the bus an the we let the the norton simon museum of art to go to our school to be in time for the two basketball games that we had. the field trip to the norton simon museum of art was a lot of fun. We should go again. I liked many of the art pieces but my favorite was the one that was a bedroom that was painted by vangouh and now was hung on the the norton simon museum of art's wall to be shown to anyone for a while as it was a spotlight.
I think that poverty is a very sad topic to even think about. Poverty is happening all over our world today, and we don't even know it. Poverty is the state of being extremely poor. More than 46 million Americans live in poverty. When someone is living in poverty it means that they either don't gain any money or they gain 1 dollar a day to support their families. To support a family first you need to buy water then you need to buy food then you need to by clothes and lastly you need to pay a mortgage to have a shelter to keep everyone in your family safe. You cannot do this with only 1 dollar or with out any money. Many people are dying everyday because of poverty. They either starve to death or get harmed from how weak they are. Think of more than 46 million people living in these terrible conditions. Imagine not being able to drink water, eat food, hop in a warm bed, or even go to school every day if any day. So many people are suffering in our world today and dying in our world today because of poverty. It is really sad when we hear about this or even think about this.we should try to help each other as humans to not just let each other die. We can help these people just by simply using food and handing it out to them or just by simply going through our closets and donating some clothes. These people are suffering every day and we should at least try to make an effort to try and help them as our friends. We should care for them and help them through their tough times so that they don't just die alone on the streets. We should make an effort today and every day.

This week in class we read a short story called the pie. It was a really good and interesting story. The short story “The Pie” by Gary Soto takes place in the barrio during Gary Soto’s childhood. It tells the story Gary Soto, a thief who wants to steal a pie to be able to savor the great taste. He must fight his conscience who is making him feel guilty to be able to steal the pie. First, he does steal the pie. Then he notices that no one saw him take it so he gets away with stealing the apple pie. He runs to his house with the pie in his hands. As he eats the pie he feels guilty for stealing it but at the same time he is grateful that he took it because it was the best thing that he had ever tasted in his entire life. As he is half way done with the pie one of his neighbors who he calls cross-eyed Johnny comes unto him and asks him if he can have a slice of the apple pie. Gary Soto decides to be greedy and dos not share the pie. Gary Soto feels guilty again for not sharing the pie but it was just too good. Gary Soto ends up gobbling down the whole pie by himself. Then Gary Soto goes into his house to help his sister make a project for summer school. In the end Gary Soto just crawls down under the house to listen to all of the weird and creepy noises that the house or that people made at the surface. I really liked this story because it made you think about why he stole the pie and why he did not share the pie with cross-eyed Johnny.

This week in class we took notes on adjectives. We took notes on the adjective lesson which was lesson 2.2. There are three types of adjectives. The three different types of adjectives are Demonstrative adjectives, Interrogative adjectives, and Indefinite adjectives. We wrote in our notes that demonstrative adjectives point out definite people, places, things, or ideas. We took down some examples of near and far and singular and plural. One example that we did was this it was an example of a singular adjective that was far away. Another example was these which was an example of a near adjective that was plural. Another example was that this was an example of an adjective that was near and singular. And the last example was those it was an example of a far adjective that was plural. Then we wrote and learned about interrogative adjectives. We learned that interrogative adjectives are used in questions. There were three examples of interrogative adjectives. One example of an interrogative adjective was which. Another example of an interrogative adjective was what. And the last example of an interrogative adjective that we wrote down was whose. Then, after reviewing demonstrative and interrogative adjectives we wrote, talked, and learned about indefinite adjectives. We learned, wrote, and talked about the fact that indefinite adjectives refer to any or all of a group of people, places, things, or ideas. There were many different examples of indefinite adjectives that we wrote, talked, and learned about in our classroom this week. There were ten examples of plural indefinite adjectives. The ten examples of plural indefinite adjectives were: few, all, ant, both, many, most, much, other, several, and some. There were five examples of singular indefinite adjectives. The five examples of singular indefinite adjectives that we wrote down in our notes were: another, each, either, every, neither.
St.Scholastica was a great saint who gave her life to God since she was a child. She became a nun and her brother St.Benidict became a monk. One day when St.Scholastica was very sick, St.Benidict came to visit her. They had a very fun day praying and singing. But then came the end of the day. It was time for St.Benidict to leave because of the monks rules that they could not spend the night at the nun’s house. But St.Scholastica was scared that she would not be able to live to see her brother again, so she asked him if he could stay with her that night. St.Benidict knew that it was wrong so he told her that he couldn't because it was against the rules. St.Scholastica only folded her hands and looked up to pray to God. Then all of a sudden it started raining super hard, so hard that her brother and the other monks could not leave. Then later on when St.Scholastica did end up dying her brother saw her rising up to heaven in a form of a dove. This was a symbol of all of the purity in her life. St.Scholastica was directly connected to God. She could directly pray and talk to him.I like that St.Scholastica is the patron saint of those who are afraid of thunderstorms. I like that she gave up her life to God since she was a child to serve him and help his children. I really like her life story, I think that it is really cool how she talked directly to God and got a direct response. I like how she connected to God so well and how she loved her brother so much that she asked God to commit a miracle so that her brother could stay with her on her death bed, even though that would be braking a big rule of the monks.
